Area unit parameter (from Calculate geometry) vs Area with unit -- HOW TO GET A VARIABLE WITH AVAILABLE UNIT LIST

Hello,

This is a bit tricky. I'm trying to create a variable in a builder that would allow me to select a type of are unit. I want exactly what you get when you use Calculate geometry attribute and you pull the parameter Area unit, and you get a nice unit list.... which is actually a Text variable??

Whereas, if I try to get a normal variable and select Area Unit as data type, I must add a value for the parameter to work.

I thought I could work around this by just pulling the parameter from the Calculate geometry tool and use it a free agent. However, the minute you unhook the parameter from the tool, the drop list  disappears 😑

Does anyone have a solution that does not involve creating the list manually?

Thanks!
