Airport Landside & Airside Data Models - Download Here
Recently Esri released two sample data models that make it easier, quicker, and more cost-effective for Airports to implement GIS on the Airside and Landside.
On the Airside – the FAA Airports Part 18-B data model can be used to help build an AGIS Compliant Database. This sample model provides the foundation for building your smart airport. It can serve as the comprehensive system of record that forms the basis for business system integration, spatial analysis, and visualization. This data model provides Airports with an implementation-ready configuration via ArcGIS Pro.
On the Landside - A growing number of Airports are using the ArcGIS Indoors data model and Indoors Apps to map and manage facilities, to improve safety and security, for lease and property management, and to generate and visualize work orders. Indoors also comes with a Kiosk mode that passengers use to locate and navigate to gates and concessions.
