When adding new users in ArcGIS Online, it would be great to have the new members added to certain groups by default based on their assigned member category.
I agree with this idea. I just had a scenario today where I added a new member and couldn't remember all the groups they should be added to off the top of my head. I went to another user's profile that is in the same department with the same requirements and wrote down the list of groups they were a part of, then went back to the new user to apply those same groups. Having the ability to auto assign groups based on categories would make some of that admin work easier.
