If you start with a feature layer showing in the ESRI JS API 4.1 MapView web control (2D not 3D) Then you rotate the view (90 degrees makes it most obvious) and zoom in, the feature will be cropped to the extent of the map as if it were not rotated. So will this be fixed? And how do we work around it in the mean time? You can…(Show moreShow less)
I have to make this widget to switch the opacity between layers: but this widget has data-dojo-type tags, and the WAB shows me an error. I was reading about _WidgetTemplateMixin, but I do not handle well the documentation yet. So, how can I make the widget with that appearance, instead this?: thanks a lot
I noticed that the KML utility service at https://utility.arcgis.com/sharing/kml is able to convert a KML (XML) string. Is it possible to use this ability to create a KMLLayer using the contents of a file rather than a URL?
I found that I was able to use the kmlstring parameter for the KMLLayer by subclassing the KMLLayer class and changing the internal esriRequest to use the kmlstring instead of the URL. This allows me to load KML files provided by the users. It required only replacing this one line in one internal function. I just place the kmlString (the…
Hi, We are currently in the process of integrating Esri map in our current environment, developed with libraries such as ReactJs/Redux/React-Router/webpack and we’ve run into an issue, we haven’t been able to solve for a few days now, which concerns the configuration of Dojo. I’ve followed different examples not only on your website but also…(Show moreShow less)
Raimonds, You are mixing protocols and different API versions in your code. Try:: <link rel="stylesheet" href="http://js.arcgis.com/3.18/esri/css/esri.css"> <script src="http://js.arcgis.com/3.18/"></script> Notice both use http protocol and both are calling the same version of the API.
I have a web map where I have a base layer with the states, and a feature layer with several dozen polygons. I have set the identity function (which for this app is always on for a single click) to use the feature layer. I am wondering if it is possible to detect when there is a feature that the cursor is going over, and then change it to…(Show moreShow less)
Re-publishing the map service worked. I am unable to personally publish the map service (our IT group does). To get the route event to work properly, the Authentication Type on the Database Connection to the Route GIS feature class had to be changed; It was changed from "Operating system authentication" to "Database authentication". In my…
The way I have done this in the past is to include the SDE table inside the MXD of another layer you need to publish. The standalone table will now be published as a layer inside the service that you can query using queryTask, etc.
