I would like to expand ArcPad Custom Tracklog Toolbar applet to allow synchronization of the resulting trackline (polyline) features, but I am getting stuck because our tracklines are and will always continue to be self-intersecting. As a result, they can only be copied into shapefiles or file geodatabases; SDE geodatabases will not accept them.…(Show moreShow less)
Is there a way to turn an AXF layer's labels on and off (set SIMPLELABELRENDERER visible = true or false) from an applet? I am trying to create an applet form with a single checkbox that users can use to turn labels on or off for multiple AXF layers, but it appears that the label property of a layer is not exposed.
I am having partial success with using feature class attachments for photos in ArcPad 10.2 with a Trimble Geo 7X and it's built in camera. I have to access the attachment table in ArcCatalog and insert "RASTER" as the Default CONTENT_TYPE field and insert a value e.g. 15 as the Default DATA_SIZE field. I check the data out via Trimble Positions…(Show moreShow less)
I've written a pretty simple script for an ArcPad form. It is basically just one event handler that does a calculation when data is entered in a particular field and a couple others that give warning messageboxes if entered values seem suspicious. It works just fine on the desktop version of ArcPad, but when I deploy it onto a mobile device none…(Show moreShow less)

I have removed all the files off the device and tried…(Show moreShow less)

Our agency recently made sweeping changes to our server/drives/directories. All shared drives have moved and now have new names and drive letters. Two questions I have, and I think they are related. How can I still use an AXF file I spent a lot of time customizing in ArcPad Studio when the source data was in one location but is now in another…(Show moreShow less)
Does anyone have any vbscript error handling routines that have worked for them in ArcPad that you might be willing to share? I am getting runtime failures on the line pRS.Update() when trying to update text and domain fields in pre-existing features, but this only happens maybe 5% of the time and is completely inconsistent and nearly…(Show moreShow less)
