Hello All, I am trying to utilize the output connector, 'Push JSON to External Website' in order to execute a gp service that is published on our ArcGIS Server. The gp service has one parameter called json, which expects a gpstring. I am able to execute the gp service without issue when I provide a string via the gp service's submitJob url: I…(Show moreShow less)
RJ Sunderman I have a GeoEvent set up as follows. Poll for a new feature (every 10 seconds, on hosted feature service through Survey123) > Using the imported service definition from that HFS > GeoEvent Service > Send Email (based on new feature, formatted in HTML). Method to Identify Incremental Updates: ObjectID Portal Update…(Show moreShow less)
I have the following small GeoEvent Service (version 10.5) setup: an input connector which receives tcp messages from a socket an output connector which writes the output to a csv-File I have a self-written tcp client which sends the messages to the input connector. In the GeoEvent Monitor I can see that the input connector is counting the…(Show moreShow less)
Hi Markus, You may want to try another TCP client. For example, you can copy the below text into a text file and rename the extension to .bat: @echo off set TCP_PORT=5575 set JAVA_HOME=C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\Server\framework\runtime\jre "%JAVA_HOME%\bin\java" -jar TCPServerApp.jar -p %TCP_PORT% Double-click the .bat file to open a…
I just finished installing ArcGIS Server Standard 10.5 and its accompanying GeoEvent Server and have not been able to update one of my AGOL hosted feature layers. Prior to the install I was able to do this. The service is a basic feature service poll in -> field mapper -> feature service update. Checking my log file i get the following message…(Show moreShow less)
No, but strangely I am able to add features but not update. I had to write some python code to overwrite the hosted feature service from a local gdb and map document. It works for now, but I can't update my hosted service faster than 30 seconds. Not a long term solution. I will reach out again to esri support next week.
Our meterology agency provides a number of feeds via their FTP website: ftp://ftp.bom.gov.au/anon/gen/fwo/IDV10750.xml ftp://ftp2.bom.gov.au/anon/gen/fwo/IDV10753.xml I tried hooking the 'Poll an External Website for XML' input connector to the above endpoints, but the connector fails to get a response. Is there a way to do this within…(Show moreShow less)
Has anyone created a custom input connector for xml that you are willing to share? I have looked at the ArcGIS GeoEvent Processor Developer Guide and while it appears possible, it is above my technical expertise.
Working in Server and GEP 10.4.1 - We have a working stream service, respecting the keywords we want it to look for - all good with a bit of work and trouble-shooting along the way. What is still not working is the 'Locations' values I'm entering - essentially a bounding box with Xmin, Ymin, Xmax, Ymax lon/lat entered in. No format I have…(Show moreShow less)
Working with Server and GEP 10.4 after a few weeks of usage I encountered the following error: When opening a page to create new Input or Output I'm presented with an empty page (picture below) I'm logged as the account that I specified during installation The console doesn't log any errors, inspecting the comunnications shows (presumably)…(Show moreShow less)
Does anyone have experience connecting Caterpillar equipment using CAT Product Link with Geoevent Processor. It would be nice to track our equipment in our GIS maps, but I dont see any information on how CAT product link could connect.
Hi Cameron, At this time there is no CAT-specific connector that interfaces with GeoEvent Server, however you still may have luck reaching the underlying data. Do you know what format the data is in (JSON, XML, NMEA, etc) as well as how it's being transmitted (HTTP, TCP, WebSocket, etc)? Many times with specific applications GeoEvent Server…
