In Attribute Assistant in the Enterprise GDB Enviroment we all figured that the generate id table needs to be in the same enterprise geodatabase, but that the Dynamic Value table can reside in a separate file geodatabase. I had my Dynamic Table rules working just great while testing everything (feature classes included) in a file geodatabase. …(Show moreShow less)
Steve, I agree with Eric that this might get a better response if it is shared in the Local or State places on the GeoNet. (You can also tag Local Government Solutions Users). Either way, I am curious to hear what kind of solution you come up with. In any case, if you are just linking up an excel table to your GIS data, you could simply usePreviewHide preview
We are in the process of migrating to the Local Government Information Model, and I'm having trouble figuring out how to populate the feature class FEMAFloodZone. I have downloaded the latest FEMA data that I could find (09/28/16), but don't see any one layer in the gdb that matches the schema LGIM wants. Does anyone have any tips on how to get…(Show moreShow less)
While not specific to your flood information, this discussion, Feature Datasets or DataOwners for SDE organizational pattern and another one I linked within it might be helpful in your deployment of the LGIM.
Hello, I'm trying to setup the ERG tools, which are part of the COP template for 10.1. When trying to execute either the ERG By Chamical or the ERG by Placard tools I get the following error. I am clicking on the map (in ArcMap 10.1) to place a point before running the tool. Can some please guide me down the right path? Here is the output from…(Show moreShow less)
For the past several months I have been developing a workflow based on Attribute Assistant in the file geodatabase environment. Now I'm looking at a similar deployment in the enterprise gdb environment. I understand the issue with the Generate ID table not being versioned but I have a couple of questions: Must the the Generate ID and the…(Show moreShow less)
The dynamic value table can be in a FGDB, but for the generate ID table, an edit is required. I sort of recall this needing to be in the same workspace as the edited data. I could run through this scenario in debug mode, but to be honest, if you are using SDE, you need to put your generate ID table in there so that it gets updated correctly…
Love the new version using WAB with the Near Me widget. Basically ready to deploy (very easy to configure). However, the 'Searched Location' box that pops up next to the pin, when you click on the map for a location (instead of searching for a specific address) never populates. This looks like a reverse geocoding kind of thing, wondering if…(Show moreShow less)
Hi Yeon - So we have, to a degree, figured this out. My organization is currently stuck at 10.3.1 versions of both desktop and server (hope to change as soon as possible). However we have a test machine with 10.4 versions of desktop and server on it. When we build a locator in 10.4, and publish it in 10.4 (with data reprojected to Web…
Hello, I am trying to migrate our roads information and load them into LGIM. However I see that we have a feature class for Roadcentrelines and street separately. And also there is a table for MasterStreetNames which basically stores same information in this context. I am a bit confused about the difference between the three classes and on…(Show moreShow less)
Yes, we have the needs for geocoding and building routes and networks as well. So I guess Centrelines is the way to go here. Also the apps from esri seems to be using the centrelines featureclass in their maps as well. Thats was very helful. Many thanks Joe.
Why can't I install the Water Utility Network Tools add-in? Every time I do this I get an error that says "No GUI components found in this Add-in. Add-in version does not match. I am using 10.4.1 and this appears to be the most recent version of the add-in.
As a follow up for those that may be following this thread: Esri Support used the basic concepts found at Essential Python add-in concepts—Help | ArcGIS for Desktop They sent me the add-in in its raw form (an Esri AddIn File) and installed it on the back end (by placing it in the well-known folder location…
Good afternoon: I am setting up the Maps and Apps Gallery for Local Government and we would like to use the tag cloud but we would rather have it as part of the header and have it toggle on and off just like Sort by. I can’t find where I can manipulate the tag cloud; other than in the config.js but that’s just to change the font size. Any…(Show moreShow less)
Thank you so much! GeoNet You have been mentioned by Allison Muise in Re: Maps and Apps Gallery in GeoNet - View Allison Muise's reference to you Carolyn Novak This isn't something that is currently configurable in the application. The tag cloud can be entirely turned off in the configuration, but there isn't…
