Washington College with collaborations with Maryland Highway Safety Office developed RAVEN or Risk Analysis of Vehicle and Environment Networks. RAVEN is an application developed to display and analyze traffic data visually on a web map using Geographic Information Systems and Web Development RAVEN is designed for law enforcement, highway safety professionals, and traffic partners; and allows the user to focus on traffic data throughout the state of Maryland. The presentation is designed to talk about the approaches of developing a web application utilizes a PHP Framework-Laravel and ESRI’s ArcGIS API for Javascript.
