Startup Program Acceptance & Onboarding

Within this acceptance onboarding series, we cover the following essential ‘getting started’ steps to access your software and partner benefits to ensure success.

If you’re reading this it means you’ve most likely been accepted into the Esri Startup Program, it's time to get started, congratulations! You will have received your three official emails, (1) Welcome to the Program, (2) Software Order, (3) ArcGIS Online Activation. Please save these e-mails.  

This process can take a few hours, PLEASE take the time to follow these steps carefully.

Note, we have a variety of international Esri Distributor Startup Program representatives who will support you in your local region.

Important Access Points:

Learn the Esri systems you will interact with critical to your success - sign-in with your ArcGIS login, gain permissions through your customer number, and by link accounts and subscriptions.

Software & Administration:

  • My Esri: Your one-stop destination for software downloads and authorization numbers to install and activate your licenses and developer subscriptions, admin your account, training, and other important access points for your team.

  • developers.arcgis.com: Activate and manage your ArcGIS Developer Subscription plans (enterprise-level) through My Esri ‘Developer’ tab. Sign-in to ArcGIS for Developers to access your developer dashboard to get started.

  • ArcGIS.com: ArcGIS Online (or ArcGIS Enterprise) commercial named user account. You need to enable access / link your subscription to your My Esri with your customer number.

Partner Benefits:

  • Partner Community Portal: Your primary destination for working with Esri as a partner. Access exclusive self-service technical, sales, and marketing resources, develop a partner plan, apply for Marketplace, Specialties, and special licensing opportunities. Get the latest confidential messaging from Esri, and collaborate with like minded partners and Esri staff from around the world.
  • Startup Program - Onboarding Blog Resources (Esri Community): Reference important startup program specific resources in this group's blog, such as program benefits, onboarding, and more.
