Batch Attribute Editor function update/change

I would like to be able to see a list of selected items and be able to remove some if necessary.

Currently you are only shown the number of features selected.

Here I have 8 selected items where they overlap each other physically, I only want to edit 4 of them.

I would like to have a short list under the 8 selected and be able to unselect from that list.
