Field workers need as much orientation as they can, especially when working in an unfamiliar place. Workforce could implement one or more of the following options to help orient workers to their position:
- North arrow
- Compass, i.e. rotate the map automatically to match the device's compass heading
- Rotate the map to "track up" when the device is moving. For example, if I'm walking or driving in a northwest direction, the map could rotate so that northwest is up.
Each of these options should allow the user to turn it on and off. They should all probably be off by default.
