If anyone would be able to give me some advice or resources for using the kernel density tool in Arcmap 10 it would be appreciated!
I have successfully used the kernel density tool, however, I do not know how to make the kernels specify percentiles of 50, 75, and 100% in order to look at an animals home range. Should I be setting this as a quantile classification with 5 classes?
I am also not certain how to read the kernel density once it has been completed. In other words, what kind of output should I be getting in terms of data analysis.
Unfortunately I am not the best at using Arcmap 10 and I am not really familiar with how to use the kernel density tool. I attached a snapshot of what my work looks like
