Hi

We are currently looking to deploy ArcGIS on Citrix across our Authority. Does anybody have any experience of running ArcGIS on Citrix as opposed to Desktop clients? We are especially interested in known issues/  performance and optimum settings for improving speed, which initial testing has shown to be very slow. We will be running on a minimum version of 9.3, but possibly 10.

Any help or advise would be much appreciated!

Thanks

Any updates to this issue with 10.1? Has it improved or pretty much the same?

Still, no big picture thinking here.  Nothing but small minds at ESRI, still after numerous decades, ESRI still makes small insignificant design moves.

What in the world is CITIX/ESRI waiting for?

I had better data communication and connectivity with DOS 4.0 256K RAM terminals in the 1980's, and with less available WINDOWS technology.  ESRI needs a serious KICK IN THE ASS!.  ESRI has all the right stuff, just no leadership vision to punch it to the TOP!

ESRI get some help!  It's embarrassing for us long term, high precision eGIS professionals out here!  GIS has always been more than a planning tool.  Get on with it before I die of old age.  OMG.

A User would expect to be listened to, but...

Four years went by, and still, no big picture thinking here.  Nothing but small minds at ESRI, still after numerous decades, ESRI still makes small insignificant design moves.

What in the world is CITIX/ESRI waiting for?  The potential is limitless, but the ship has no captain.

Hi - running ArcGIS Pro 3.2 on Citrix - everything's fine, not usually noticeably slow, but click on preview in the attributes table for the graph? Nope. Create a graph? Yep. Can you see it? Nope. A sea of blank tabs faces you with this software combo... haven't used it except at a basic level, but can't get the visualise stats to work, either. Just returns a blank tab. Right clicking on the layer in the Contents pane and selecting Create Chart works just fine but returns a blank tab with all filter options etc. greyed out. Nothing to select.
