Find and Directions Tools Crash ArcGIS Explorer Build 1500

I've read one of the other forum posts indicating that the Find and Directions tools finally work for some users, however mine use to work on build 1200 and now when i click either of those buttons, ArcGIS Explorer crashes on build 1500.  Here are my system specs:

Windows XP Profession Additionon, Service Pack 2 (32 bit)
Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1
Microsoft XML Core Services (MSXML) 4.0 Service Pack 2
Microsoft Internet Explorer Version 7.0
2.49 GHz - CPU Speed
Intel Core Duo Processor
3.50 GB of RAM

We have recommended ArcGIS Explorer to a client and in build 1200 they had issues of the Find and Directions tool not working.  Even working with ESRI tech support, we were unable to resolve this.  I don't want to recommend that they upgrade until i know build 1500 is stable.

were you prompted to send in a crash dump?

Are you behind a firewall? If so you should have been prompted for User name and password. if so did it crash after this?

I'm having the same issue on a Windows XP SP3 box -  Crashes when i put the search input field and push the search button. No proxy issues when i test it out in the config area.

Hi, thanks for the posts. Can you please send in your crash dumps. There was no functional changes to the code between 1200 and 1500 for these two dialogs (three if you include routing) with the exception of code enhancements to proxy errors.

A couple of things you could do here. Firstly please verify that you are definitely not behind a proxy and delete all the xml files within your C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\esri\arcgis explorer directory.

In the cases that it fails or crashes, can you please supply a sample address please. Are you working in English or another language. Anything that might help me reproduce your crash.
