Displaying Operational Layers in Overview map

I am using the Flexviewer 2.3.1 and want to display an operational layer on top of my default basemap in the overview window.  Is this possible?

Or does this require modifying the code for overview map widget? Can someone supply me with that code? Thanks!

Attached is the updated OverviewMapComponent.mxml code that has to replace the out of the box version, and you will have to manually specify your layers, basemap and operational in the OverviewMapWidget.xml as in the example OverviewMapWidget.xml.

So would I need to revert back to 2.3.1 compiled flexviewer in flashbuilder and re-compile?

I currently am working with 2.5 flexviewer code in flashbuilder.
