Hello there,

Does anyone have any tips on importing polygon layers with multiple attributes into CAO? I keep getting a server error that says to check my required files, but they're all there, with no SDE or server conflicts from my end. I've also been able to import in the past.

Also, is there a way to manage or create a legend that would actually make it worth it to use the resulting map as a hard copy? For instance, if I'm trying to show point layers of my own combined with online layers combined with a choropleth map of census data, how am I to go about referencing each layer if I can't manage my legend? Any advice/illuminations on this would be greatly appreciated.

Community Analyst only supports simple polygon and point shapefiles.  If you have a multi-part polygon, you will need to simplify it to a normal polygon with only X,Y coordinates, and it should work.  Shapefiles can be imported with a maximum of 100 records and a file site limit of 3MB and they must be a single zipped file containing .shp and .prj files.

The legend does not currently support customization.  We are planning enhancements for the legend and your feedback is very helpful.  In the mean time, you might try using screenshot software to create a composite image.
