Regarding the "graphs" that should be present in the Catalog window, as indicated on this page of the book, I see no such graphs listed. Anyone else have this problem?
thx

As soon as I opened ArcGIS this morning, I saw the problem (funny how that happens).  For various reasons, when starting the exercises in this book, I elected to store my work in a location other than the one that the book recommended (i.e. C:\UGIS\ParkSite\MapsAndMore\).  Consequently, of course I would not have seen the author's "graphs" in the folder that I, myself, had created.  Duh.

cheers,
Brian

Hi Brian,

let us know if you have any problems down the road because of this--for example, if graphs or other map files have trouble finding the paths to their source data. When we tested the book, we assumed people would use the prescribed folders and didn't consider what might happen otherwise. It's a good point and we'll take a closer look at it before updating the book.

Thanks,

Tim
