I've been testing a feature service for almost a month now and all of a sudden yesterday, my layers no longer show up in arcgis online.  I tried restarting the service, restarting my server, but it doesn't seem to help.  I can access the layers in a web application using the silverlight application, but not arcgis.com.  I am collecting data using the iphone app, so i need to use arcgis online.  Plus I have volunteers in the field!!  Any ideas what is going on?  I can share the map with a group if you want to look at the feature layer.

What do you mean your layers no longer show up? Are they not drawing? There is a bug introduced recently that if you have a layer named with a percent sign (%), you don't see that layer in the legend. Renaming the layer solves the problem.

Thanks,

I uploaded CSV files to web server and now I do not see data when viewing from ArcGIS Explorer OnLine. It is known that if viewing on mobile, e.g., iPhone, Android phone, tablet, iPad that data does not show, but today something in addition is going on.

It seems a lot of people are having the same problem. Me too. It must be a problem on the provider side.

Loading shapefiles directly into a web map is not working at this time. Also, with Explorer Online, loading of CSVs is not working. We are working to resolve this problem. Is this the problem you are seeing? Or do you have a web map with a CSV that you loaded into the web map prior to today and you're not seeing the features in the web map?

Thanks,

Mike

My problem seems to be resolved (adding shapefiles). I'll try CSV next. Thank you.

My issue is still happening.  The layers are extremely slow to draw and in some cases never show up.  Sometimes it shows up on the iphone app and sometimes not.  Would it be something with the SDE?

Oops, I'm the same persona as LakewoodBeacon.  I'm trying to collect data on a feature service using the iphone app.  It's been working for a while, but all of a sudden two days ago everything got really slow, and now I can't even see the layers in arcgis.com

Trying to run some maintenance on SQLServer to see if that's causing a problem.

Laura,

Can you share the URL to your map? If you don't want to post it, you can send me a private message...

Thanks,

Mike
