Adding Decimal number at Contour Interval on Surface Contour toolbox

Using Surface Contour toolbox from Terrain and Tin Surface toolset I Added a Decimal number (ex.:0,5) at Contour Interval from a TIN input.
However, my output featureclass came with a Long Integer type on contour elevation field.
Is it working right? I belive it should come with decimal places (doble type). In this case I have more than one contour line with the same record value.
Can some one chek it for me?

All you need to do is specify the number of decimal places you want in Contour Field Precision.
