When will Beta 2 be out then, so us C++ folks can play?

Where is it? Can't find it on the ArcGIS 9.4 Desktop beta 2 DVD.

Did you lie outright when you said that the C++ SDK would be available at beta 2, or did you let it slip?  Either way, this release still is incomplete.

Kind of a strong statement.  Be nice.  This is a privilege to test, not a requirement.  Besides, beta 2 just came out yesterday, the APIs haven't been put out yet, either.  ESRI has a lot on their plate for this release.  The ArcGIS 10 release won't be complete until Final, anyway, just give them time, and be nice about it.

The C++ Cross Platform SDK for Engine is available right now for Beta 2.  The VC++ SDK is will be an addendum to the .NET SDK and was originally planned to be available for Beta 2, but it did not make it yet.  It should be available for download a little later.  Sorry for the inconvenience.

@Riverside: You're right, I overreacted and I'm sorry.  I do look forward to it when it's available.  I did spot the Engine SDK and will look to see if it provides some pieces that I'm missing.  But it's really frustrating and hard for a developer to provide for an upcoming release when the SDKs are not in place.

I agree, I am dealing with similar issues but with Microsoft
