I am a Business Analyst newbie and have been tasked with evaluating the software. I am running 10.1 with 2012 data. I am trying to create a new Territory Solution from Seed Points and build the territories using Drive Distance. When I finish the process, I end up receiving several windows where I cannot figure out what they mean.
They are:
"Failed to update territories. Territories geometry or variables can be invalid"
"Desired number of territories cannot be created: Defined territories number was not reached due to limitations of the Territory solution"
Can anyone provide me insight as to where in the process I might of gone wrong?
I've scoured the ArcGIS help section and internet with no luck. The Help button doesn't really offer any help; I've actually found the help section to be quite limited for Business Analyst. I am also disappointed with the elementary tutorials offered. Does anyone have any recommendations on where to get more in-depth help, resources and tutorials?
