I'm just wondering if the Address Management Tool in the Address Data Model is or will be available for ArcGIS 10?

This isn't really what I was looking for and it doesn't exactly answer the question but it does get me where I need to go, albeit not the way I really want.

I installed Windows XP mode with Virtual PC on my Windows 7 machine and installed ArcGIS 9.3.1 on the Virtual PC.    This thread had some pretty good pointers, including this link which resolved the error I also encountered.

I'm still curious about the availability of these tools, or similar addressing tools for ArcGIS 10, if anyone is interested in weighing in.

Andrew,
Did you ever find out if this tool is or will be avalaible, perhaps as an add-in?  I am specifically looking for the fishbone tool or and creating address ranges for road centerlines from points.

Sorry, I've not heard anything more.  I've found many interesting code samples, building an add-in may be my next step.  I was holding out hope that someone would beat me to it though.

Hi everyone!

I know its been awhile since there was anything posted here... But I am also looking for the fishbone tool?? Is there one available because I cannot find anything!?!?

Thanks everyone!

I agree with the need for a fishbone tool within the ArcMap toolbox.  I have not heard of another tool that will identify incorrectly geocoded address points with reference street data.  Has anyone hear of an alternative?

Doug, Jacqueline, Sebastian, et. al.:

I've just posted an alpha version of a fishbone tool on ArcGIS Online. It's designed to work with the Local Government Information Model, and requires that your map document contains the SIte Address Points feature class and that the DualRange address locator is the current address locator.

Please try it out and provide me with any feedback you have.

Thanks,

Jon.
