ARCGIS Explorer Prints Blurry

I have a large scale map in ArcGIS Explorer Desktop made from shape files. The map covers an area of 250 km x 250 km. When I print the map to E size paper (34"x44"), the lines are blurry. A similar map printed in ArcGIS 10 does not seem to have the same issue. How can I get a crisp, clean copy?

In basic terms ArcGIS Explorer Desktop prints a screen shot.  It's a raster image that gets scaled and sent to the printer, so it is not possible to print crisp feature data as neat as ArcMap with ArcGIS Explorer Desktop.

Hopefully better printing can be added in the future. Poor print quality limits the usefulness of Arc Explorer as a content distribution tool.
