Hello Everyone,
A few users in my company have installed and are using ArcGIS Explorer. I am not directly familiar with the application, but I am responsible for supporting these users. Two of the users are not having any trouble, but a third cannot run the program. When I try to run it for him, I see the splash screen. It is displayed for about a minute. It then disappears, but the program does not run. I see the E3 program start in the task manager, but as soon as the splash screen goes away, that task ends.
I have tried removing and reinstalling Explorer, and we have rebooted the machine a few times along the way. The system runs Windows XP Pro SP3 x86 joined to a corporate domain. We use Symantec Endpoint Protection for our antivirus / endpoint security software. The user is an administrator on his local machine, and the system is current on Windows Updates.
Any advice or assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
