hi,

I am not sure if I have the tutorial data properly installed as I could not find the necessary datasets (e.g. ca_outline; O3_Sep06_3pm; ca_cities, etc.)
for the tutorial exercises. As instructed in the tutorial section, I have looked into the default installation path is C:\ArcGIS\ArcTutor\Geostatistical Analyst\ca_ozone.gdb
however, there is no such datasets (e.g. ca_outline; O3_Sep06_3pm; ca_cities, etc.) in it. Is there anyone who could possibly give me some suggestions in solving this issue?

many thanks!

Did you navigate to the folder in Windows Explorer, ArcCatalog, or from "Add Data" in ArcMap?

If you tried to use Windows Explorer, you'll run into problems.  To add feature classes from a geodatabase, you need to navigate within ArcMap, either through ArcCatalog or from "Add Data".

If using Add Data or ArcCatalog still shows that the geodatabase is empty, please contact customer support:

Good luck.

I had tried contacting the customer service, so far I have got no response. I would really want to start working on those data, any helps from you guys would be very much appreaciated.

I have installed the tutorial data with the 'window installer' in the disc, while there are some other files (e.g. some .zip files& some are not) as well. I was not so sure in the first instance which file exactly I have to use to successfully install those tutorial data. Again, I used just the 'window installer'. It turned out that the datasets I was looking for were not there. Am I doing the right thing here? or have I missed out on something important to have those data sucessfully installed?

any suggestions would be very much appreaciated! Thank you!
