I am working with a large wildfire emissions dataset and am trying to create some "map animations". So far I have had no problem using the time slider functionality to display 10 years of fire data with dynamic "data frame time" text showing the date in my output animation. What I am trying to do now is display each season to show changes in fire locations based on the time of year rather than the exact date. So really all I want is an animation that shows 4 separate maps, one each for winter, spring, summer, and fall. I have created 2 new fields to try to accomplish this, the first being a text field with the name of the season, and the other is a "false" date field with 1/1/2000 for winter, 2/1/2000 for spring, etc. The map animation looks the way I want it to, but I want to display the name of the season as the animation progresses rather than the date since the date really doesn't mean anything. Does anyone know how I could accomplish this?
