Daytime population values explanation

Greetings, I'm looking for more explicit definition of "daytime population".  Is this derived considering the population that has left the area (base population - daytime work elsewhere + incoming employees) or is it incincoming employees on top of the base population?

I think what you are looking for is Total Employees (which is often unofficially called daytime population) like at the top of this sample BAO-based Business Summary report.

This is based on the InfoGroup business data.  Below is a link to the methodology.
