Hello,

I'm currently trying to split a polygon with a polyline, and apparently this can be done with the Production Mapping toolbar. The catch is... no such toolbar exists in my list of options. I'm using 10.2.2. Does anybody know why I don't have a Production Mapping toolbar, and/or how I can otherwise achieve my goal of splitting a polygon in two pieces?

Thanks!

-Whitney

Hi Whitney, the production mapping toolbar is an extension which has to be bought an addition to ArcGIS desktop.

I achieved my task with the Feature to Polygon tool. It would still be nice to know why I don't have a Production Mapping toolbar, though.

Hey Whitney, maybe you didn't see my previous comment, but you need to buy an extension to use that toolbar,

You should be able to do this using the Cut Polygon Features tool in the Editor toolbar.

Adding to Sephe Fox, if you have a Production Mapping license, the installation setup of production mapping is separate from the ArcGIS for Desktop setup. You need to install that too.

Although Cut Polygon features tool is the best bet now, as mentioned by Owen Earley.
