I have always used Hawth's tools (I have 3D Analyst not Spatial Analyst), but with the upgrade the tools disappeared....  Can I still get Hawth's tools to work with 10 or is there a function to clip by polygon that I missed?

I have approx. 100 images that I need to clip to field boundaries (polygon layer).

Thank you.

Hello,

I'm fairly new to ArcMap, and I'm having the same problem clipping a raster. I've tried Clip in Raster Processing and Extract by Mask in Spatial Analyst tools.

I'm trying to clip the raster with a polygon. I thought of using Extract by Polygon, but it asks for coordinates as opposed to just selecting which polygon to use.

Either way, I would appreciate some help with this. Thanks in advance for your time.

You should be able to use the "Clip" tool in Raster Processing. After selecting the proper Input Raster (the raster you would like clipped), select the output extent (the shapefile or polygon you would like to use to clip your raster to). Next, make sure that the "Use Input Features for Clipping Geometry" box is checked.

That should give you a raster clipped to the same shape as your polygon.
