Route Widget 3.6 Flexviewer Problems with "Unable to complete operation"

Hello,

I am trying to make a routing service for a college campus on there sidewalks as a result there are no "directions". I simply need the line to draw and display. The routing service (network dataset) works perfectly in ArcMap and I have it uploaded to server and the custom geocoder works perfectly in the widget. It is just the polyline from point 1 to point 2 doesn't draw and instead it says "unable to complete operation...Clear and start again or add another valid stop". I looked at the tags in the xml file and the pdf none of them seem to correct this error. Is it possible to run this widget with no directions ?

on network dataset wizard  make sure you configure Directions?

Hello Asghar khan‌ I know that its a bit old, but I'm heaving exatcly the same issue.

How can I configure the Directions? In the Network Analyst toolbar there is an option to view the directions of the selected route on the map. I'm able to see that.

In the Route Layer properties the options for Directions are checked (Distance Unites, Use Time Attribute and Open Directions Window automatically)

But still cannot get it to work on Widget. I'm using the 3.6 version on ArcGIS Server 10.2.2 environment.
