How are points in a Shortlist Story Map Tab ordered?

I performed a bulk load to an existing feature class where these newly added features will be part of a new tab in the existing shortlist story map.  They in no way appear in the order they were in for the load.  They also are not ordered by ObjectID, not by Name, not by sort field, etc.  Really they are not in any order that makes any logical sense (as far as I can see).  Why is this?  How are these features generally ordered?  Is a Sort field useful in this particular application like it is in Story Map Tour?  Do these records have to be ordered one at a time instead of a bulk copy and paste load?

Thanks,

Justin

Sorry about the issue Curtis. I'm going to try and reproduce your workflow this morning to see what happened. Assuming your original web map with your starting source data is publicly sharable data, could you post a link to that map so I can start from the same set of data.

Rupert,

I think I have it fixed now but if you would like to try and reproduce the error this is the source data web map.

http://utahcounty.maps.arcgis.com/home/webmap/viewer.html?webmap=32f1a0ee2943468a9558d6d9d3e3cc7c

I did notice when I imported that it only imported my first tab data. I added all the other tabs and data using the story map builder in ArcGIS.com.

Thanks for all the work, I really like the new template with the larger photos. I'm excited to get it published to our website, I just need to work on some of my other data in the webmap.
