Dear Community,

in my data there are multiple polygons of an area.

Is i simply possible to create a line circumference shape out of all polygons? So I just need the outlaying (line) border of the outlaying polygons plotted.

Thanks in adavance!
Best regards

Andreas

I can't say I am completely clear on what you are attempting, but I think the following discussion from a couple weeks ago will help:  https://community.esri.com/message/636468-how-can-i-create-a-line-feature-from-a-polygon?sr=search&s...

Thanks Joshua!

Good Idea and tried it already. But I would only need the outer circumference line of the whole area. So just the outlaying polygons of an area and from them the outer border. So lets say the USA: I have all states as polygons and I need just the border of the whole USA as line.

Why not do a dissolve first and then follow the workflows suggested in the previous post?
