change lenght rectangle

Hi,

I've rectangle and I want them to have a new lenght. the lenght is in the attribut table. is it possible ?

For exemple the actual lenght is 120cm and I want them to be 150cm.

perhaps you can include all information that is used in the calculation if you are looking repartioning the line prior to buffering to yield your polygon
