text attached to a polyline, so when you select the text, the polyline highlights also.

When I am trying to add text to a drawing, you select it and it highlights, the same with a polyline.  is there a command to lets say, select the text, which highlights and so does the polyline? And your still able to edit the text and move it.Thanks

So that I others can see the property that the owner owns. And, here's the kicker, I don't use ArcGIS. I use AutoCAD.

Ah, I used to be a CAD guy, almost ten years ago now. But why not just turn on the labels for the property and not deal with the selection part? Maybe a screenshot if it is not confidential...

darn it, don't worry about the blue line. But pick the text and have the polyline highlight also.

I short I don't think there is a simple way to do this in Arc. I would be inclined to make polygons out of my polylines and color them by interest/owner.

Or if all you are trying to do is identify the owner interactively give the Identify tool a go:
