Personal Use License - Survey123

Hi all, 

I'm trying to download Survey123-Connect through my ArcGIS Personal License and i'm running into an error saying i don't have a valid organizational account. I know the personal license includes a subscription to arcgis online but does it not include the ability to administer a survey. I was hoping I could create some project surveys through my personal license rather than having to put to host them on my work account.

Hi Ben,

I suspect you're logging into ArcGIS Online with a Public account and not an ArcGIS Online organizational account. You should be able to see the 'My Organization' link after you've signed into www.arcgis.com. You don't need to go to My Esri.com. Please contact Esri Customer Service 1 (888) 377-4575; they can probably help sort out your licensing confusion.

Hi Ben,

Have you "activated" your ArcGIS Online organization with your ArcGIS Personal License? Survey123 should work with any ArcGIS Online organization. Can you please confirm that you've "activated" your ArcGIS Online organization, then try to sign-in with Survey123 Connect?

I cant seem to find that email. Additionally, the "My Organization" link isnt showing at the top of my ArcGIS Online Page. The only way i can see my organization info is by clicking "My Profile" going to "My Esri"  and clicking "My Organization". It shows i have an organization and that i am the admin but maybe there is something wrong.

Hi Ben,

Thanks Derek. 

This was indeed the issue. I never received the email to activate the organizational account and after contacting customer support and having them send it 3 times it finally went through. I ended up having to create a new ArcGIS online account which I created my organization through.

I'm not clear on what "steps" you're looking for. If you don't see the 'My Organization' link (near the top of the page) after you've signed into www.arcgis.com, then please contact Esri Customer Service 1 (888) 377-4575.
