Disappearing Line Points in Parcel Fabric

Hey Everyone,

I recently logged a bug (NIM086602) about disappearing and ineffective line points in the parcel fabric.  I'm experiencing the issue whenever I perform an action on a parcel or group of parcels, such as joining to, rejoining, or merging courses.  Our workflow consists of loading processed CAD data into the fabric one page at a time, and each time I join a group or merge courses, the line points that were there either disappear, or remain but are ineffective.

What results from this is that I have thousands of parcels with missing or ineffective line points that I have to go back to and manually recreate line points one-by-one.  It's becoming difficult to manage and track and is very time consuming.  All the time I spend creating line points when joining parcels is for naught if I have to perform any other operation on that parcel, like joining other parcels to it or merging courses, which I have to do regularly because the Load Topology To Fabric tool doesn't create line points within an unjoined group upon loading.

We're contemplating waiting to continue work on our parcel fabric until the issue has been addressed.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue? For anyone else using a similar workflow how are you managing your line points?

Best,

I think I am experiencing this same behavior.  See this discussionThe bug page says it is resolved, but I am still finding my line points from my lots are not transferring over to my tax parcels when I create a subdivision.  It causes all sorts of weird things to happen with various boundaries and when attempting the parcel remainder function.  I am running 10.2.2, and the bug page says it was resolved with 10.2.

I'm at 10.3.1, and saw the same behavior until I installed the latest patch for the parcel fabric:

ArcGIS 10.3.1 for Desktop Parcel Fabric General Maintenance Update Patch | Samples and Utilities
