Hello,

I am trying to get Parcel Drafter working and I have configured the application per the instructions:

Configure application - Parcel Drafter | ArcGIS for Local Government

I published the layer package through ArcGIS for Server 10.4.1, created the webmap, configured the Parcel Drafter widget, including selecting 'Snapping Layers' as a parcels layer that I already have hosted on our server as a service.

When I click on the icon next to 'Start New Traverse' nothing happens.  There is no 'Please click a point on the map to begin' like on the try it live version.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

-Matt

Hi Matt -

Has the Parcel Drafter service been published as a feature service or hosted feature later with the appropriate add, update and delete capabilities added?

Thanks,

Hi Chris,

I have tried publishing the layers from the downloaded layer package two ways, publishing from ArcMap (10.4.1)  to ArcGIS for Server (10.4.1) as a feature service with editing capabilities (add, update and delete) and I tried publishing from ArcMap to ArcGIS Online as a hosted feature layer with editing capabilities.

Both ways let me configure the widget the way the instructions show and does not give me any errors.  But when I try using the widget, nothing happens.

Thank you,

-Matt

Just wanted to provide an update about this issue - the fix was to install Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS (Developer Edition) 2.3 https://developers.arcgis.com/web-appbuilder/

The minimum version requirement for Parcel Drafter is Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS (Developer Edition) 2.2.

Thanks,

Chris
