Identify Route Location Widget?

Afternoon all,

Anyone know if there has been any work done on a widget that functions like the dynamic segmentation "Identify Route Location" tool in ArcMap?

I have some users who would like to be able to click on a route and identify the measure for that location.  I'm rather new to Flex and am just starting to jump into writing code.  Any ideas or help would be much appreciated.

We are running our ArcGIS serve on Linux and I’m not sure if the .NET extension was installed.. I found instructions for installing it for Windows 7 and Server 2008. Any chance you have a reference for Linux?

I see the dll in the bin/release folder..

if you use Linux you need convert in java. See Eric's Blog: Porting an ArcGIS Server Object Extension from C# to Java

The SOE will not add to our 10.4.1 ArcGIS Server. Followed teh read.me doc and no luck.

Nothing happens when you hit Add, only the jumbled chars at the bottom of this box.
