I am working on several files with city data. I would like to find a layer, similar to the USA States Generalized, but with all cities in it, especially latitude and longitude.

For example, if I have a file with 300 organizations, city and state info, I want to  join it with a city file so I can make display my points.

In what format are your "files" (tables/shapefiles)? Also I am not clear on what you are trying to achieve. Could you explain further on your requirement as well?

Meanwhile check USA Major Cities which consists of the locations of cities within United States with population of 10,000 or greater (based on Census 2010 figures), all state capitals, and the national capital.

The above layer package file could be opened in ArcGIS Desktop, and exported as shapefile/GDB feature class.

Thank you for your suggestion. I have an excel file with 500 clubs, the name, city and state. I need the latitude and longitude to map the groups, but I don't want to use my credits for  geocoding. If I can find an established list of cities, state and latitude and Longitude I can join them. The city file works, but not for smaller towns. I guess what I am looking for is a table with point data for all incorporated cities in the US.
