I have published my map but it still will not load in Collector. Any advice?

Collector will only open web maps that have data from a feature service, i.e. editable.

Hello Derek,

I've added a location tracker in my ArcGIS Online map and now believe it won't work without also using the Collector for ArcGIS app. Unfortunately, I have a Windows phone and it doesn't seem possible to use unless I have an iPhone, Android, or PC. Is there a work-around for the Collector for ArcGIS app on a Windows phone without using Survey123 or GeoForm?

Hi Matthew,

I'm not clear on your issue. Collector for ArcGIS is available on Windows Phone.

EDIT: Collector for ArcGIS is available for Windows 10 tablets and PCs. You can get it here,

Collector for ArcGIS - Microsoft Store

Hope this helps,

Hello again Derek,

According to the Collector for ArcGIS - Microsoft Store link, the following is what shows on my phone:

I can't find any link for the Windows Phone.

To be more precise, I have a Microsoft Lumina 735 Windows Phone 8.1 Update 2.

Hi Matthew,

Apologies for the late reply, I was on business travel last week.

I'm also sorry, but I made a mistake in my previous post. As you pointed out, Collector for ArcGIS is NOT available on Windows Phone at this time, it's only available on Windows 10 tablets and PCs. I am sorry for my mistake.

FYI, this blog post was also just published:

ArcGIS Apps for the Field on the Windows Platform | ArcGIS Blog

Regarding your original question,

I'm not exactly sure what you want to do, but have you tried to use Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS to create a web app for your web map data, then open it in a web browser on your Windows Phone? It supports editing workflows, but does not support being disconnected.

Hope this helps,
