Hiya. I have a strange error that is occurring in a Story Map Series web-app.

In the story map I have 12 tabs (introduction tab, the other 11 are a park each).

When the story map is first opened, if you click one of the tabs - the map displayed on that tab will be the map that is displayed in tab 2 (in my case - a park called Awakairangi). This is the same for any tab that is pressed (other than Awakairangi).

Here is the link: http://uhcc.maps.arcgis.com/apps/MapSeries/index.html?appid=33d8489fc3004153a40d3ba2351775bb

I can provide further links etc if required - just let me know.

Other than that everything works fantastic and members of the public have complimented the application

Thanks and hope to hear from you soon.

Hi Connor -- Sorry you have encountered an issue with your Map Series story. I was able to see the issue you described. I have to do a bit more investigation, but it seems to be a bug related to using the same map at different extents in all tabs except the first one.

As a workaround you can try creating a copy of your map and using the copy for section 2. You can leave the current map in all the other sections.

Please let me know if that works for you and we'll look into the cause of this.

Hiya Owen - I have followed the workaround by creating a new copy of the web map used for section 2 (Awakairangi).

This has fixed the issue, however then started doing the same thing when I press the Whakatiki (Summer & Winter) tabs... Instead it takes me to Harcourt Park. Strangely enough - it only does this SOMETIMES - as in I cannot reproduce the error with 100% probability. Very bizarre huh? Guess its better that its one of the tabs at the end and not the first tab
