I am running Arc 10.1

I have batch checks and noticed that one group in the batch checks are unable to be modified or deleted from my batch checks - no error messages available - while this is vague does anyone have any ideas how I can delete the group of checks from my batch checks?

What type of check in your RBJ cannot be modified or deleted?

What version of Data Reviewer did you use to create the RBJ and the checks within it?

Can you send the RBJ and some sample data?

the group of checks that cannot be deleted are all Execute SQL checks

these checks were created in 10.0

I am now using 10.1

I'm checking if I can send the rbj ... stay tuned

Try the following test...

Open the RBJ and do a Save As... and give the RBJ a new name. Exit the Reviewer Batch Job Manager. Launch the Reviewer Batch Job Manager and open the RBJ you just saved. Can you modify or delete any of the Execute SQL Checks?

I was successful in renaming the rbj and I can delete all the other queries in the list EXCEPT the same group in question

What happens if you Validate the RBJ? Any useful messages?

the link to the feature class and the query disappeared from all the checks in question and since i cannot modify these checks it causes validate to say 'missing feature class or table' for all these checks

that is the extent of the validate errors

btw - i did not get permission to send the rbj file or any sample data - sorry about that

Are the feature classes that participate in the checks present in the map?

Has the schema changed?

the feature classes that participate in the checks are present in the map

i'm unsure about the schema change BUT the probablity is high that the schema has changed since the check was written

Even if the schema has changed, you should be able to edit the checks within the group, delete a check from the group, or delete the entire group.

Do you still have the original data or schema in which the Execute SQL checks were created? If yes, are you able to edit the checks or delete the group when using the original schema or data?

Using Windows Explorer, navigate to your user profile and go to your ESRI directory (Example path on a Windows 7 machine C:\Users\<user who is logged onto the machine>\AppData\Roaming\ESRI. Within the ESRI directory there is Production 10.1 folder. Rename the Production10.1 folder to Production10.1_orig. Then open ArcMap and try to edit or delete the Execute SQL checks within the RBJ. Then zip up and attach the Production10.1 folder within the ESRI directory. Perhaps an exception is being written to this location.
