I've upgraded to ArcGis 10.5 and have tried to install the relevant ArcHydro version (obtained from /archydro/archydro/Setup/10.5/), but the installation won't progress beyond the 'PreInstall' stage. The message that pops up says 'The ApFramework could not find the Arcgis 10.3 for Desktop install directory C:\ ARCGISHOME\'. Can anyone assist?

I'm having the exact same issue. Have you been able to find a solution as of yet? I've also tried the 32 and 64 bit versions, no luck.

Sadly I haven't found a solution for this problem yet. My local ESRI support team have apparently sent a query through to the technical guys at ESRI in the US but there's been no response.

This situation is extremely frustrating!!

Kerry- our IT folks were able to get it installed. It had be done as user 'Admin' with full privileges. IIRC the previous versions did not require this. Try that!
