The Collector for ArcGIS app supports dropdowns through the use of domains, but currently only allows for a standard single-selection dropdown in the app. Some data collection efforts require the user to choose multiple items to add to the record's field (as comma separated items within a single field). It would be very useful to allow for a way to allow either a multi-select dropdown or a checkbox list for certain data fields displayed in the Collector app.

I've gotten dropdowns working through adding domains to the feature class I publish, but they only allow the user to choose one item (as you'd expect). I have a need to allow users to select more than one option from a dropdown list (via a multi-select dropdown or a checkbox list), is this possible to do? Any ideas or instructions greatly appreciated!

Plan B, did you ever figure out how to get this accomplished? I'm trying to do something very similar (just need to pipe relatedrecords results into attributeInspector and be able to edit). If you could post/send me any code you have that shows how to do something like this I'd sure appreciate it.... Thanks!

Is there any way to use the editor widget (as in this sample), but have it's default attribute inspector placed into a side panel div rather than the infowindow? I need to have a sliding panel that the user will pick a symbol from the templatepicker, the panel slides closed, the user then digitizes the new feature and upon completion the panel opens back up with an attribute inspector to fill in fields and save. I realize this is not how ESRI wants you to do it, but this is what my client is requesting/insisting on. Certainly there has to be a way to override the default attributeInspector for the editor widget? The editor widget does have an attributeInspector property, but how can I change that on the fly (or on init)? Any help would be great....thanks!
