Hi, I am currently working on to using IIF syntax arcade expression in renderer which is coming from JSON. So far, I can confirm that simple "valueExpression" in the JSON works fine such as "valueExpression='$feature.category'". But, it won't accept more complicated arcade expression using IIF condition statement. *valueExpression var nV = IIF($feature.nV != null && $feature.nV != $feature.v, '-'+ $feature.nV,''); var cS = IIF($feature.cS != null && $feature.cS != 'closed', '-'+ $feature.cS, ''); IIF(IsEmpty($feature.endDate), IIF($feature.category == 'brick', $feature.v + nV + cS, $feature.v), 'expired') *sourceCode var serializeOptions = new JsonSerializerOptions { WriteIndented = true, Encoder = JavaScriptEncoder.UnsafeRelaxedJsonEscaping }; string jsonRenderer = System.Text.Json.JsonSerializer.Serialize(uniqueRenderJSON[renderName], serializeOptions); _renderer = Renderer.FromJson(jsonRenderer); } featureCollectionTable.Renderer = _renderer;

Hi, Recently, I've seen one of the changelogs for the App Studio 4.4 which can be install a new Windows app without un-install as like below link shown. What's new in AppStudio—ArcGIS AppStudio | Documentation Anyway, my build couldn't do that, and I can confirm that I am currently using 4.4.77 to cloud make. Is there any option to set it? Thanks, Sean.

Just for your reference. var newObj = Qt.createQmlObject("import QtQuick 2.12;import ArcGIS.AppFramework 1.0; NetworkRequest{id:networkRequest}", root, "");
newObj.onReadyStateChanged.connect(function f(){
console.log("Ready state:" + newObj.readyState)
if (newObj.readyState === NetworkRequest.DONE){
console.log("done")
}
})
newObj.url = "http://appstudio.arcgis.com/images/index/introview.jpg"
newObj.send();

Hi Erwin, Thanks for your reply. However, I have still encountered a problem using DELETE method with JSON as a raw. Below attachments showing what I've tested for this issue. It's captured from the Filddler and tested with same source code and environment. Just difference is method. POST/DELETE As you can see, there's a missing body in DELETE method while the POST method works as expected. Thanks. Sean.

Hi all, I have encountered something interesting situation which might be the bug or I am wrong in implementing. The situation is, I am using App Framework Network Request to get relevant data from the server-side. In order to do that, I found that 'DELETE' method is not accepted raw body as below. networkRequest.url = some_url networkRequest.method = "DELETE" networkRequest.send(JSON.stringify({"keyA":"valueB"}) in the above case, there no body has sent. But, it'll be in when I change its method as 'POST' as below. networkRequest.url = some_url networkRequest.method = "POST" networkRequest.send(JSON.stringify({"keyA":"valueB"}) I also checked that it's working(but it's not raw body) when I set as form-data as below. networkRequest.url = some_url networkRequest.method = "DELETE" networkRequest.send({"keyA":"valueB"}) Have a check and let me know if you any. Hi, I saw the release notes for the App Studio 4.3 beta. Among them, one thing I want to know in more detail is that 'AppStudio now supports unattended installation of Desktop setups..' Is this the thing that the windows build now supports automatically install without uninstalling the existing version? Thanks, Sean

Hi Erwin, Yes, I am using URL Scheme. I got a little bit confused with the usage of AppLayout. According to the documentation of this URL (AppLayout QML Type | ArcGIS), 'App' object needs to set as the delegate of 'AppLayout'. Do I need to put AppLayout inside App to use URL scheme properly as like below? App{ AppLayout{ delegate:?? } } Thanks, Sean

Hi, I am currently implementing deep link URL (Integrate with other apps—AppStudio for ArcGIS | Documentation) like what iOS and Android app does. The problem what I encountered, I've been following the correct way to implement it, but I figured out it doesn't work when App Layout wrapped App component. It only works when using 'App' Qml type as a begin of the page. Is this the only way to using a deep link URL? Or Is there any way to configure it wrapped with App Layout? Thanks, Sean

Hi everyone, I am trying to figure out how I can handle the Android phone's back button behaviour. Does anybody have any experience with this? I found that there's a way to implement using 'App' QML type, but it shows 'currently under review' and doesn't works. Thanks, Sean

Hi, Is there any method that can override the application's close event? For instance, when a user tried to close the application on Windows, will trigger that can add some logic. After some googling, I found that there's a way to implement in Qt (qt - QtQuick: how to override window close event? - Stack Overflow ) But, can't find any similar method in App / AppLayout QML. Thanks. Sean.
