We have run into this same situation. Were you able to find a workaround for this? Thanks!

Thank you Craig. The mistake was on my end. I had set up the layer searches on the wrong attribute. I corrected it and the functionality works as it should.

I configured my dispatch map to be searchable by various layers. I can see each of the 4 layers properly configured when viewing the map details > Settings > Web Map Settings. I set it up to search 4 layers by a ProjectID attribute using the CONTAINS operator. I have saved the settings. When I open the Workforce project and try to create an assignment, I click the link to search the map and the search bar opens. However, the option to search my layers is not there. Normally in a web map when the search by layer functionality is configured, the search box has a dropdown beside it so you can select the layer you want to search. Regardless, I tried putting putting in my search string and no results are found. Why isn't the dispatch map honoring my search settings?

Thanks Michael. I did check the REST endpoint and the tables are definitely NOT part of the new overwritten service. They are just strange relics hanging out in the web map. I'll check out the link you sent.

I have a web map which contains a hosted feature service with 3 layers. The first version of the service contained related tables. I made changes to the service and removed the relationship classes and the tables. When I republished the service, the web map still shows the tables in the TOC. They are no longer part of the service but I cannot remove them from the web map - when I click on the table, nothing appears appears - no context menu or icons. Is there a way to do remove the tables without having to create a whole new web map?

I am managing my customer's data in ArcGIS Online through my organization's account. My customer does not want or need an AGO account. I want to create a mapping web app to view their data that I can embed on a password protected page on my website. My customers could view their data (that is hosted in a web map) from my website and not need to sign in to AGO. It seems that in order to do this, I have to share the web app publicly. I can't do this with their data. Is there a way around this?
