Hi, Did anyone find a resolution for this? We've been with Esri off and on for 24 hours. We recently moved to 11.2 enterprise (from an ArcGIS Online hybrid deployment) and what you are describing sounds similar to what we are experiencing.

We are also getting the same error. I can fix it for a couple reports, but then it starts right back up again with Code 498. I'm going to contact our Esri Rep - see if I can get ahold of someone at Survey123, contact Make, and also work with our GIS Admin to see if there is some kind of workaround in the meantime. Any resolution for this yet?

So - in case anyone runs into the same thing, I figured it out. I needed to have both ObjectID fields from both tables visible in the view in order to register it.

Hello - were you able to figure this out? I am on SQL 2019 and ArcGIS Server 10.6. I'm getting the same error in ArcGIS Pro and ArcMap. My tables registered without issue. My view (which is just an INNER JOIN of the two tables) will not register. ArcGIS Pro Error: ERROR 160236: The operation is not supported by this implementation. Failed to execute (RegisterWithGeodatabase). https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/tool-reference/tool-errors-and-warnings/160001-170000/tool-errors-and-warnings-160226-160250-160236.htm I should also add, when I right click the View in Catalog and try to register it that way I get the following error: ERROR 999999: Something unexpected caused the tool to fail. Contact Esri Technical Support (http://esriurl.com/support) to Report a Bug, and refer to the error help for potential solutions or workarounds. The current table doesn't have an ArcGIS-maintained row_id column Failed to execute (RegisterWithGeodatabase).

I'm wondering if Esri has any partners that are working on or have developed a staking solution that works with the new utility network.

I'm copying my question from a year ago - Has there been an update to this question from Esri? We are also a small utility and use ArcGIS Enterprise. The only reason we would implement Portal is the utility network, but maintaining a Portal is daunting due to our limited resources. Is the utility network without Portal in Esri's plan? We use a versioned multi-user database, so the single user model will not work for us.

Maria Torres @ Esri figured it out! The trick is to make sure your Content Type is "HTML." When you select "Edit an attachment" choose "Map" and then add the file name with ".pdf" at the end as shown below. It worked for me! This should do the trick! Adelaide

Has this been resolved? I am having the same issue with every PDF having the "UTF-8" prefix. For some reason, whenever I select the Map option, save and close, it defaults back to the HTTP option. So then I tried this: But I my file name STILL contains UTF-8". I am using Chrome. Thanks! Adelaide

Thanks Sergey Tolstov, The Subdivide Polygon works for what I need using the NUMBER_OF_EQUAL_PARTS method. Not sure if I missed this back in 2019 or if my version of ArcGIS Pro at the time didn't have it - either way, this is exactly what I needed. Apologies for late reply! I got on the phone with ESRI Support in November and found out that no one can view data, print reports, or edit records using the Data tab on Survey123's site if set-up using Enterprise GIS except for the survey creator. It was frustrating, and a bug was logged - not for the actual problem, but for misleading text. We ended up going with a webapp. ENH-000126920 : Currently the text for when Configuring Survey 123 with a feature service published to ArcGIS server, that service cannot create the Stakeholder and field worker view. Normally these views allow the survey creator and submitter to go to the "survey123.arcgis.com" site and edit the survey's data from this site and generate reports. However with server service the submitter of the survey cannot edit the survey's from this site or generate the reports. The creator of this survey was confused by the wording in the the viewer tab which states, "The same group of users who can submit data can also view results."

Will viewing in the analyze or data tabs ever be an option? I'll be honest, it's a bit disappointing after selling our users on the reporting tool only to find out it's not useable given our set-up as I like keeping as much of our data as possible on our servers when possible. The reporting tool is pretty cool and we can host our data as a work around. It might be good to put some verbage under the "Share survey results" link that states viewing not compatible w/ ArcGIS Server or make that error message a little more readable. Thanks for taking the time to look into this James, it's appreciated.

That's what we decided to do with this particular survey - use web app builder. I know for projects coming down the line we were hoping to use the Analyze and Data reporting tool in Survey123 which would only require a read-only view. Is there any way to make these items accessible to users who don't need to edit?

Why is that? The users are able to edit the feature layer in a ArcGIS Online map, why wouldn't they be able to edit the same data in Survey123? Will this be in the survey123 plan moving forward?
