Same problem here- saving and reopening a map loses raster function layers (red exclamation pt). There's no apparent way to reset without removing and recreating the layer with raster function tools.

Please ESRI, we used this ALL THE TIME for data collection in forested environments with ArcPAD. It's a major loss in Collector/Field Maps. Based on the ESRI help files, I thought I had a solution with the new EOS Bridge, but come to find out it only works when ALSO using an EOS GPS receiver. This should be basic functionality for any equipment manufacturer as it was in ArcPAD.

I haven't tested again, but I reproduced it several times previously. Yes, I believe as long as I powered down the R2 or disconnected it in Bluetooth settings, switching to the integrated receiver works as expected. If I leave it connected, things go awry.

When sharing a new webmap from Arcgis Pro that contains a certain hosted feature layer, I am now asked every time to update sharing for that layer. The hosted layer is always shared to the same group as the map. This started sometime in the last few months- prior to that the same layer was included in maps created in Pro and shared the same way without an issue. This doesn't seem to affect the map, but something has happened that doesn't seem correct. Have checked the layer in AGOL many times, it's sharing is set to the same group that the maps are being shared to.

All maps by default have Advanced Offline Options defaulted to Download and get updates to Features AND Attachments. Since we never want or need to download attachments, it is a cumbersome extra step to go into each map settings to change so the offline device isn't loaded down with extra data (attachments). It would be nice to have the ability to change this default on either the user or organizational level for new maps.

I've found that when switching GPS providers from an external source to Integrated on iOS, the current location shown on the map freezes on the last external GPS location unless the external device is turned off or Bluetooth is disconnected before switching providers. We've been having various Field Maps/Trimble issues and I discovered this trying to replicate other issues. I can start with the integrated receiver, connect to an external receiver (Trimble R2) via Bluetooth and switch over to that in FM without a problem. If I try to switch back to Integrated without first disconnecting the external receiver, the map either freezes up entirely, or just the blue-dot location indicator stays stuck on the previous external position. Is this a known bug? Seems we should be able to seamlessly switch GPS providers without glitching.

I couldn't agree more- AND on top of it, the Mobile Manager app frequently loses its credentials for offline users. When in offline environments (every day, here in Vermont) our field crews have to drive to find cell service through a hotspot to make the MM sign-in connection before they can start working. The app is supposed to retain the credentials for 30 days, but it absolutely DOESN'T! Trimble worked with me for a few days then stopped responding. They suggested they had changed sign-in requirements on their end, but ESRI needed to adopt the new API in Field Maps. Lets get rid of the Mobile Manager requirement! I'm getting ready to move everyone back to Collector. TMM is definitely not an enhancement- I can't tell you the number of frustrated phone calls I get from our people in the field.

Colin- one additional note: Yesterday while troubleshooting I ran 2 iPhones side by side one with Field Maps 21.2.0 and the other with 21.1.1. With the same maps open on both at the same time, the 21.2 device did not have the + sign, while the 21.1 device did. I checked this with several maps. This was before I implemented the workaround of saving the map in AGOL. I could be wrong, but to me this suggests an issue with the Field Maps release. Screen shots of both attached.

Yes, published from Pro v2.8.0. Going into the AGOL map and changing the basemap to something else then back to imagery fixes the issue. I've tried updating my basemap gallery in Pro but that doesn't appear to change anything. Everything from the same workflow was working correctly yesterday, today no editing ability. Field crews downloaded offline areas yesterday or the day before for use in the field today.

Working with ESRI support- this appears to be a bug related to the World Imagery basemap used. A possible temporary workaround: In AGOL (classic), change the basemap to something else, then back to Imagery. Save map. Reload in Field Maps and data collection is now available.

Our field crews suddenly cannot add data/edit in Field maps in iOS. Looks like the app was auto updated to 21.2.0 sometime recently (still 21.1.1 on another device where editing works as expected on same maps). Testing here in the office suggests it's happening with both online/connected maps as well as offline map areas. Anybody else encountering this? Have found one map with offline map area that still has editing available, all others do not have the "+" sign at the bottom of the screen even though editable layers are included and the map has "Use with Collector" checked ON. Editing appears normal on web/browser version of the ArcGIS Online Map. MAJOR problem, any advice would be most appreciated!

Hi Phil- just encountered this myself- is there any thought to implementing photo rotation on smaller devices? This seems kind of crazy- I routinely take photos in landscape orientation with a phone. Other phone photo apps seem to have no problem with this. When reviewing records in AGOL collected via Survey123- all landscape photos are turned vertical. Photos collected with Field Maps or Collector don't have this problem.

Having the same problems with model builder in Pro 2.7- did you find a solution? Opening some tools is excruciatingly slow, others go fairly quickly. The model runs as expected in a timely manner.
