Do you mean a plain service outside of ArcGIS Server? We would really have liked to keep it in the environment.

Hi, I would like to use some of the metadata tools in arcpy however they are 32bit. Is there anyway to run a 32bit geoprocessing task on server? We have a 32bit installation of ArcEngine on the same machine but just cannot work out if this is possible? Thanks

Hi, Lets say i have 4 points with counts in them. I would like to create a new point that has a gravitational pull towards the highest count but still take into account the rest. I looked at location based analysis but this seems to want you to specify locations to choose what is the best option but this is just simply working out the preference between points. Any thoughts? thanks

Hi Looking for some advice. I have a Portal for ArcGIS server on Azure and have federated ArcGIS Server on Azure. We had to federate to easily enable the SAML authentication process. This all works as required however we have one configuration setup we would prefer to have on the ArcGIS Server side. When users upload a map service, we would prefer to keep the datasets as a registered database connection and not the data copy to a hosted database. Essentially we still want to keep it as it was if the server was not federated. I have previously performed this on a stand alone setup for ArcGIS Server where i set the blockdatacopy option on. The documentation suggests not doing this if we are using portal as a hosted server and while we are for the SAML/uploading option to to upload to my hosted service we would like to keep the connections as they are in the mxd. Setting up a connection to the ArcGIS server as a ArcGIS Service does not work using the SAML users, only the local setup admin so this option is out for now as it would require two different usernames/password Anyone set it up like this before?

Hi Matt, Thanks for the reply. When using SAML with Portal, did you have to federate with AGS to get this to work? We woul dlike to keep them separate but want the user management to look at the same Azure AD. Would a mixed approach be a better suited solution? IE AGS - Azure AD with setup as explained in first option Portal with SAML? Thanks

Hi, We are looking to link the ArcGIS Server we have in the Azure environment to the Azure AD. I have noticed this has been discussed here before but not solution was found. Anyone have any luck with the integration? Thanks

Hi I am using the Mosaic management python (i have tried in the UI also). I have NONE selected as the system says it cannot colormatch with a colormap in place? This is set to none for all the other raster mosaic i have.

Hi Coming across an issue with merging a raster dataset together. Tried in 10.1 and 10.3 Please see attached. This does not occur with my other datasets including a previous dataset from the same source. They are 8bit TIFF images that display correctly if seperate raster datasets, when i mosaic, this is the result: Any ideas what could be causing this? thanks

Jeff's answer is the best option. You could script everything in python and publish a map using parameters etc. Other then that, the manual route is the only other way.
