Thank you for looking into this. Since the documentation includes mouse events for the map control it's a bit confusing as to what is actually supported.

I'm using a map in a map control as a secondary map in a pro window. I've tried to use the MouseWheel event and the PreviewMouseWheel event. Neither gets triggered. How should I be using these events? I didn't find anything in the two samples that are normally given for MapControl (overview and magnifier). I'm creating a new map and adding layers which are then used to create the ViewContent for the MapControl. MapView.Active never points to the MapControl even when I'm using the MapControl map, so those options are not available.. I can get the mouse move event, but not the mouse left button down or mouse hweel. This includes the preview. I'm currently still using version 3.0.3.

Here's a link to my issue with ClosedXML using DocumentFormat.OpenXml: Solved: ClosedXML in Addin - Esri Community Referencing the ArcGIS version of DocumentFormat.OpenXML and not including it anywhere else solved the issue. I did have to drop back several versions of ClosedXml to get it working.

ArcGIS Pro comes with it's own version of DocumentFormat.OpenXml (the 2.0.5022.0 version). If you can find the spreadsheet light version that uses the same version as ArcGIS Pro, it may work, but I haven't tested it. We dropped what we were trying to do and just used the version that comes with ArcGIS Pro.

Posting here in case anyone else has the same issue. The only difference between the two was that the addin fishnet was in memory, and the other was a shapefile. Changing the output to a shapefile resolved the issue.

I have an addin that creates a fishnet as an intermediate step. The input values for the coordinates are integers and after creating the fishnet, the coordinates contain decimal values. If I use the same inputs with the geoprocessing tool directly, there are no decimal values. I'm expecting the output to contain polygons on an even grid with no decimal values in the coordinates. I'm not sure why the same inputs return different results when one is run from the toolbox and the other through the sdk. What I can do to fix the tool run in the addin?

I'm using the Coordinate System Control in a ProWindow. I add the Map to the CoordinateSystemsControlProperties and create a new properties object when things change. The layers section is never added to the Coordinate System Control. Am I missing something? I'm am using ArcGIS Pro 3.0.3 and migrating addins from ArcMap 10.6.

Based on our testing, I would assume that using EPPlus would fail as well since it also uses OpenXml as a dependency. It's good information to know if you're trying to output excel reports. We used EPPlus in our ArcMap addin and I was just testing open source when migrating to ArcGIS Pro. Thanks again for your help.

The issue I had was methods used in the new OpenXML were not available in the one supplied by ArcGIS Pro. I'll continue using the version in ArcGIS Pro for now, but may still run into breaking changes as the version in ArcGIS Pro is quite old and many things have been changed in the later versions.

I had switched to OpenXml yesterday and was wondering about if there was a version conflict. For the most part, I can get it to work using Nuget, but I'll switch to the version included with ArcGIS Pro. I wonder if I compile ClosedXml (the version using the OpenXml version included with Pro), using the OpenXml from the ArcGis folder, if it will work? OpenXml takes a lot more work to get all of the styles working the way I need to. I'll try out a couple of options today. Thank you for the sample project.

I'm working on migrating our addins from ArcMap to ArcGIS Pro 3.0.3. Currently I'm trying to replace EPPPlus with ClosedXML. it's not working as part of the addin. I can get it to run fine in a standalone app, so believe it may be related to dependencies somehow. Has anyone else tried this? I'm using a pro window, but moved the test code up the button handling before the window appears and it still fails. It fails during the saveAs, and a file is created, but it is corrupt and non-salvageable.

Thank you--I found the constructor override just a bit ago. I didn't have an issue on the xaml side. It was figuring out the constructor for RelayCommand that would accept a type. I didn't realize I would have to add all of the other parameters even though I'm not using them. ArcGIS Pro 2.7 API Reference Guide - RelayCommand Constructor(Action<Object>,Func<Object,Boolean>,Boolean,Boolean)—ArcGIS Pro Thank you again for your help. It's a big change switching from winform/arc objects to wpf/arcgis pro.
